We are excited to provide a virtual, one-day, in-house workshop just for TRAILS members. The training is designed to focus on homegrown learning, localized content and practical training tailored to meet our community's needs.

Key Highlights:
Keynote Speaker: Emily Knox, has a PhD in Communication, Information, and Library Studies, and is the current Interim Dean Designate and Professor at the School of Information Sciences, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Knox is a recognized expert on intellectual freedom and she wiill share insights from her most recent book, Foundations of Intellectual Freedom.
MT Legislative Update: Hear from our past and current MLA Presidents about recent Montana legislative developments.
Learn about policies for responsible use of AI and for Collection Development: These are especially important topics in light of the current technological, legal, and financial climates.
Outreach and Engagement: Learn creative ways academic libraries can offer outreach and engagement.
Library Instruction: Discover strategies and approaches for successful library instruction sessions.
